Winnipeg Police have arrested a 28-year-old male after he allegedly assaulted a 42-year-old man near Fort Street and Graham Avenue on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Police say the victim was approached by the suspect around 2:00 pm and without provocation attacked the man causing upper-body injuries. He then proceeded to rob the victim of his bicycle before fleeing.

Foot Patrol officers in the downtown area were able to identify the suspect and on May 29, 2023 place him under arrest.

The suspect has been charged for his alleged involvement with Robbery. He was released on an Undertaking.
