Winnipeg Police Homicide Detectives have arrested a 17-year-old male in connection to the stabbing of Zachary Paul Rae on September 23, 2020. 18-year-old Rae died two days later in hospital.
Investigators say the y identified a suspect and on October 6, 2020, they arrested the teen. They believe that both males knew each other and the pair had been in an argument just prior to the stabbing.
The teen has been charged for his alleged involvement with Manslaughter, Two counts of Fail to Comply with Sentence and Three counts of Fail to Comply with Condition of Release.
The accused was detained in custody.
