Winnipeg Police Service homicide investigators have arrested and charged a 26-year-old male in connection to the killing of 38-year-old Kelvin Fedrick Sumner on November 27, 2020.
Police were called to a residence in the 200 block of College Avenue around 4:30 am for the report of person with serious injuries.
When officers arrived they discovered a deceased male inside.
Detectives say that they believe the suspect and victim were together in the suite during the day when a dispute happened that escalated to an assault. The victim left the residence and the body of the victim was found the next morning.
Justin James Scott Gledhill from Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder.
Gledhill was detained in custody.
