Police arrest second suspect in a 3D-printed gun manufacturing and trafficking case

A second suspect in a 3D-printed gun manufacturing and trafficking investigation that began in the fall of 2022, has been arrested and charged by Winnipeg Police Service Firearms Investigation and Enforcement Unit (FIEU)

During the investigation, FIEU investigators along with members of the Canada Border Services Agency determined that a criminal network hired 3D printer services to make handgun receivers. The parts were then assembled into functioning ghost guns and sold.
