Cops catch copper criminal cruising construction compound

Police recover stolen copper wire and pipes after they were called to a construction site in the 1800 block of Pembina Highway.

A call about a break-in came in just after 4:00 am on Wednesday August 14, 2019.

Police say a lone male was located inside the construction site and taken into custody. Officers found break-in tools and a small quantity of Meth.

It is believed by investigators that the male had allegedly stolen the copper items before he was spotted by a security guard.

Police recovered the stolen items.

43-year-old Jeffrey Alexander Sholdra is facing charges for his alleged involvement of:

  • Break & Enter with Intent – Place
  • Possession of Break In Instrument(s)
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine

He was detained in custody.
