Police say that around 10:00 pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021, they received a 911 call that indicated a female was heard screaming and seen being possibly dragged into a vehicle in the 100 block of Clarke Street by two males. The caller indicated that the female may have been able to get away. Police have not identified a victim yet.
The caller described the men involved as a Middle Eastern male and a Black male. The vehicle was described as a white Land Rover-style SUV.
Around 11:24 pm a female in her 40s reported she had been pulled into a vehicle and assaulted near Portage Avenue and Arlington Street. The victim suffered minor injuries but was able to flee.
She described the abductors as two East Indian males. A third male is described as Indigenous. The vehicle involved is described as a white Doge Journey SUV.
Police received another 911 call around 11:51 pm about a female who had been assaulted near Alexander Avenue and Gunnel Street. When officers arrived they found the victim who had been assaulted but she claimed that her assailants were family members and she did not want police involvement. She was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Police say that the vehicle was described as a white Dodge Journey or Jeep Cherokee.
Member of the Major Crimes are investigating and trying to figure out if the three incident are related.
