Winnipeg Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating a stabbing that happened sometime before 6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
Officers were called to the St. John’s neighbourhood and located a 19-year-old male suffering from a stab wound. They immediately began first-aid on the victim and applied a tourniquet. The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but has now been upgraded to stable.
Investigators believe that the stabbing may have happened in the Burrows Avenue and Aikens Street area.
No arrests have been made but the investigation is continuing.
