Winnipeg Police Service is investigating a stabbing that resulted in the death of a 41-year-old man and a 38-year-old man recovering in hospital.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Austin Street North around 1:15 am on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. When police arrived on the scene they found the two victims with stab wounds and they were taken to hospital.
Kevin James Wescoupe, of Winnipeg, has been identified as the victim who succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators are investigating his death as a homicide.
