A city-wide snow-clearing operation is slated to begin to improve overall roadway conditions and as a result a residential parking ban has been declared and will be in effect from 7:00 am on Thursday, November 24, until 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
Vehicles parked in areas scheduled to be cleared can face a $200 fine and be towed to a nearby street that is not scheduled or has been cleared.
The city will be using automated license place recognition to identify vehicles parked in violation of the ban. Those who are in violation will receive tickets in the mail rather than on their windshields. Enforcement officers will continue to hand-deliver penalty notices to vehicles when necessary.
