Just after 2:30 pm on Monday, March 4, 2019 a Cessna Grand Caravan crashed about 4 kilometres from the Little Grand Rapids Airport on Family Lake.
RCMP say that the pilot and six passengers were on the flight and that some of them suffered minor injuries on impact. They were treated at the Little Grand Rapids Nursing Station.
The Transportation Safety Board has sent investigators to the scene and will work with RCMP as they probe the cause of the crash.
