The City of Winnipeg has launched a new online tool that will provide photographic evidence of parking infractions.
Prior to the new tool, vehicle owners had to talk to a screening officer in order to view evidence against them.
The new tool allows anyone who receives a parking ticket to go online and see the images associated with their ticket before launching an appeal.
The city says that they believe the new tool will reduce the number of contested tickets and reduce the wait time for those who do decide to appeal their ticket.
