In anticipation of another COVID-19 vaccine being approved by the federal government in the near future the province is calling on pharmacies and medical clinics interested in inoculating the public to apply.

The plan is to increase capacity in the vaccination campaign using the expertise that exists through the annual flu campaign.

So far in the province 48,187 doses of the vaccine have been administered (33,654 first doses, 14,533 second doses)

Currently the province can administer about 7,100 doses of the vaccine per day and are hoping to increase that to 20,000 by April 1st.
