The City of Winnipeg will be closing Pembina Highway between Jubilee Avenue and Stafford Street in both directions beginning at 8:00 pm on December 29 until 4:00 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, so that construction workers can install bridge girders.
The construction is part of the Southwest Rapid Transit corridor being extended. City officials say that workers will be working around the clock during the closure.
