The City of Winnipeg will be closing part of Pembina Highway this weekend in order to install girders for a new bridge as part of the south leg of the rapid transitway.
Beginning Friday, February 15 at 8:00 pm and continuing until 4 am Tuesday, February 19, 2019 construction will take place around the clock.
Although access will remain for Winnipeg Transit, emergency vehicle and pedestrians all other vehicles will have to find alternate routes.
The city is also restricting parking during the closure on eastbound Jubilee Avenue between Nassau Street South and Osborne Street. Parking is also restricted on Osborne near Brandon Avenue during that time.
