Winnipeg Police are investigating a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian on Portage Avenue at Garry Street late Friday night, February 14, 2020.
Police say that at approximately 11:30 pm officers in a patrol unit saw the collision occur between an adult female and a sedan.
The female was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Investigators have determined that the pedestrian was crossing against the lights on Portage Avenue when she was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and talked to the police.
No other injuries were reported
Eastbound Portage Avenue was closed from Smith Street to Fort Street while officers investigated the collision.
The investigation continues.
