A 52-year-old man is dead after being hit by a vehicle that fled the scene say police.
RCMP were called to West Road about two kilometres north of Highway 17 in Peguis First Nation just after 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Peguis is about 190 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
Investigators say they believe the victim was hit by a northbound vehicle.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information that could help the investigation to come forward.
