Winnipeg Police say that the female passenger who was critically injured in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, has died from her injuries.
The collision occurred just before midnight when a motorcycle collided with the median on the midtown bridge.
The single vehicle collision sent with the driver and passenger to hospital. The driver’s injuries were reported as minor nature.
Police had the northbound lanes of the bridge closed for about 12 hours as they investigated the cause of the accident. Officers closed the bridge a second time late Thursday night for about an hour as they continued to investigate.
