RCMP in Oxford House have arrested a 30-year-old female in connection with the homicide of a 30-year-old male.
Police say that on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, the victim was critically injured after being assaulted with a weapon. He was taken to the nursing station but died from his injuries.
Margaret Chubb, who was known to the victim, is facing a Second Degree Murder charge for her alleged involvement. She was held in custody.
Oxford House is approximately 576 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
Police to investigate.
