Outstanding warrant leads to traffic stop and drug charges

Winnipeg police have arrested a 36-year-old male after he was spotted driving in the Harbour View South area. The male was known to officers and had an outstanding warrant.

Police conducted a traffic stop and placed the accused in custody. A search of the vehicle uncovered nearly $8,000 worth of cocaine along with more than $1,500 in cash.

Brenden John Regula has been charged for his alleged involvement with Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, Possess Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 and Warrant for Failing to Attend Ident.

He was detained in custody.
