The City of Winnipeg announced on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, that outdoor aquatics facilities will begin to close for the season later this week and they will all be shuttered by September 7, 2010.
Wading pools will be closed later this week except for pools at Dakota Park, McKittrick Park, Vimy Ridge Memorial Park and Westdale. Those four will close on September 7th.
Non-heated outdoor swimming pools will close Friday September 4th except for the Freight House location which will close on Monday September 7 along with all the outdoor heated pools.
Spray pads will continue to operate until Monday September 7, 2020.
