Early Saturday morning, April 27, 2019, Winnipeg Police responded to the report of an injured person on Osborne Street.

When officers arrived they found three men suffering from stab wounds. The three victims were taken to hospital in critical condition but hav now been upgraded to stable.

Police located the suspects a short distance away within 15 minutes of the initial call and placed them under arrest.

Investigators say that the victims had been walking across the bridge on Osborne Street when they were confronted by two other men. An argument ensued which quickly turned into a physical fight. The suspects then allegedly pulled out a weapon(s) and stabbed the victims.

Jameson Ly, 21 from Winnipeg, and Anthony The Cuong Ross, 21 form Winnipeg have been charged for their alleged involvement with Aggravated Assault.

Both suspects were detained in custody.
