Order of Manitoba
The Lt. Governor, Janice Filmon, has announced that 11 people will be given the Order of Manitoba.
The Order of Manitoba recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence and achievement in a variety of fields of endeavor that have benefited the social, cultural and economic well-being of Manitoba and its residents.
The Inductees are:

- Marileen Bartlett
- Maria De Nardi
- Dr. Dhali Dhaliwal
- Chief Betsy Kennedy
- Dr. Gary Kobinger
- Wanda Koop
- Reggie Leach
- Bernadette Smith
- Susan Thompson
- Wanbdi Wakita
This year’s investiture will take place at a ceremony to be held July 7 at the Manitoba Legislative Building.
