Opaskwayak Cree Nation to get policing services from First Nations Police

Beginning on Monday April 12, 2021, Opaskwayak Cree Nation will be policed by the Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS).

MFNPS takes over from the RCMP on the reserve but RCMP will continue to provide policing services to the nearby town of The Pas.

MFNPS Opaskwayak Detachment can be reached for non-emergencies at (204) 623-8201. For emergency call dial 911 or (204) 623-8200.
