A 65-year-old woman from Mississauga, Ontario is dead after a two-vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of the South Perimeter Highway near Pembina Highway.
The collision happened around 3:55 pm on Monday, December 19, 2022. Police say the deceased lost control of her vehicle while crossing the overpass and collided with the concrete median. Her vehicle was then hit by a westbound cube truck. The 22-year-old male driver of the truck was not injured.
The female driver was taken to hospital where she died from her injuries.
RCMP continue to investigate.
