On Saturday night, February 8, 2020, a 21-year-old female reported to police that she had been robbed while attempting to sell her earphones to someone who answered her online ad.
The victim told police that she had arranged to sell her headphones and agreed to meet the buyer in a Regent Avenue West parking lot.
When the female got out of her car a male grabbed the item causing her to fall to the ground. Another person who was with the female victim attempted to intervene but was punched by the suspect.
Police say that as the victim attempted to pick up the earphones that had fallen to the ground the male pulled out a knife, picked up the earphones and took off.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’0″ tall and about 20 years old with a thin build. He was wearing sweatpants, a hoodie, baseball cap, runners and a backpack.
