One Year Since the Tragic Murder of Sukhdool Singh GILL: Winnipeg Police Seek Public Assistance

Today marks one year since the tragic murder of Sukhdool Singh GILL, a 39-year-old man of South Asian descent. GILL was found deceased at a residence in the 200 block of Hazelton Drive. Following a medical examination, his death was ruled a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Winnipeg Police Service’s Homicide Unit.

The investigation into GILL’s murder remains active, and police are appealing to the public for assistance. They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who knew GILL, including members of Winnipeg’s South Asian community. Investigators are seeking information regarding GILL’s whereabouts and personal interactions in the time leading up to his death.
