RCMP in Berens River are investigating the death of a one-year-old boy that happened on August 2, 2022.
Police say they received a report that the child had gone missing from his home around 1:00 pm. Family members search for the boy and found him in the water along the shoreline of lake Winnipeg.
Family members performed first aid and took the infant to the nursing station where he was pronounced deceased.
