Winnipeg Police rushed to Citizen nightclub on Bannatyne Avenue at Princess Street after two men were shot.
Police say the incident happened around 1:30 am Saturday morning, November 2, 2019. Officers found the victims inside the bar. One of the men was suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower body. The other victim had also been shot but had died by the time police arrived.
This is the 38th homicide in Winnipeg since the beginning of 2019.
Investigators from the Homicide Unit are asking anyone who was inside the club and may have cell phone video of the shooting to contact them at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
