Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in a single-storey house on Elkhorn Street ay 7:19 pm on Wednesday night, January 6, 2021.
Crews encountered smoke coming from the home and launched an offensive attack. The fire was quickly suppressed and declared under control by 7:43 pm
Everyone inside the home were able to get out before firefighters arrived. One person was assessed on scene by paramedics and taken to hospital in unstable condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
