A fire in a multi-family two-storey house on Burrows Avenue is under investigation.
Emergency crews responded to the blaze around 5:37 am on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 6:01 am.
One person was able to self-evacuate while two others were helped out of the structure by firefighters. One occupant was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital in unstable condition. No other injuries were reported.
Two cats were also removed from the building.
Damage was contained to the suite where the fire began.
