Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in a two-storey house on Banning Street just south of Ellice Avenue around 11:00 pm Saturday, July 10, 2020.

Two youth who were inside the home had self-evacuated before firefighters arrived. One of the youth was assessed by paramedics at the scene then transported to hospital.
Firefighters launched an offensive attack and quickly brought the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
