At 1:40 am on July 2, 2023, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in a multi-unit housing complex in the 300 block of Pacific Avenue.
Light smoke could be seen coming from the building as firefighters arrived on the scene. An interior attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 2:24 am.
Two people were assessed on scene by paramedics with one of them being taken to hospital in stable condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
