Winnipeg Police Service responded to a break-in on Friday evening, July 1, 2022, in the 100 block of Burrows Avenue.

Officers found an adult female suffering minor injuries when they arrived on the scene just around 9:00 pm.

According to police the woman was injured during the break-in.

Members of the Tactical Support Team and K-9 unit searched the area. One male suspect was located a placed under arrest.

The injured female was transported to hospital in stable condition.
