Winnipeg Police Service are investigating a serious assault at Watt Street and Talbot Avenue in the Elmwood neighbourhood on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
Police were called to the scene around 8:00 am.
One person was taken to hospital in unstable condition.
Police had a large area on the southwest corner of the intersection cordoned off with police scene tape including the back lane and southbound lane of Watt Street.
Officials have not released any details yet about the assault or if anyone is in custody.
