One person was taken to hospital in critical condition on Tuesday afternoon, October 27, 2020, after being rescued from a fire on Langside Street.
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to the two-and-a-half storey home in the 100 block around 4:08 pm.
When crews arrived smoke was coming from the building and an offensive attack was launched.
Firefighters were told that one of the occupants may still be inside. A search of the building located one person. The were pulled from the structure and treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
