Winnipeg Police Service is investigating a stabbing that happened on Main Street just south of Magnus Avenue late Monday night, July 17, 2023.

Officers responded around 11:00 pm and found a man in his 40s suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital in unstable condition but later upgraded to stable.
Southbound Main Street was closed to traffic between Magnus Avenue and Manitoba Avenue while officers investigated.
The front glass door on a nearby business had been smashed in
In an email to News4, police said an arrest has been made and there are no other suspects.
