Emergency crews responded to a fire in a two-storey house in the 400 block of Prichard Avenue on Thursday afternoon, August 25, 2022.
Flames and smoke greeted firefighters as they arrived on the scene. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control in about 30 minutes.
Everyone inside the home at the time of the fire was able to get out. One person jumped from a second-floor window to escape the flames.
Two people were assessed by paramedics at the scene with one being taken to hospital in unstable condition and the other not requiring hospitalization.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
