RCMP are investigating a two-vehicle collision that claimed the life of one person and sent another to hospital.
Police say that shortly before 9:15 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2020, an SUV travelling southbound on Highway 12, just north of Garvin Road, crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a northbound pickup truck.
The 34-year-old female driver of the SUV from Neebing, Ontario was to hospital where the was pronounced dead.
The 29-year-old male driver of the pickup from Lockport was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say that a third vehicle was at the scene and may ve been involved in the collision.
