ONE DEAD, ONE IN HOSPITAL AFTER APPARENT FENTANYL OVERDOSE IN SOUTH OSBORNE

Winnipeg Police responded to a call in the early afternoon on Saturday May 27, 2017 for a report of an overdose.

When officers arrived  to the 400 block of Osborne they found a dead male and a woman with a possible overdose.

She was transported to hospital in an unknown condition.

According to police, officers also found a white powder on scene that is consistent with fentanyl or carfentanil in the residence.

 

Although not showing any signs of contact with the drug officers were taken to hospital as a precaution

The investigation continues.
