RCMP are investigating a collision between a car and a semi-truck on Highway 3 near Road 38 NW on Thursday afternoon, May2, 2019.

Police say the semi was travelling north on Highway 3 when the car, that was southbound, crossed the centre line and slammed into the truck.

The 48-year-old male driver of the car died at the scene. The 41-year-old driver of the semi was not injured.

Police do not know if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the collision.

The investigation continues.
