A 27-year-old male has been arrested for Impaired Driving Causing Death after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17 resulted in the death of a 69-year-old male.
Police say that the accused was travelling eastbound about six kilometres west of Teulon on Saturday, September 15, 2018, when he hit the shoulder, overcorrected and slammed into a westbound vehicle being driven by the victim.
Both men were taken to hospital but the 69-year-old died from his injuries shortly afterwards.
The 27-year-old remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are not sure if seat belts were in use but do believe speed was a factor in the collision.
The investigation continues.
