RCMP is investigating a fatal collision between a semi-trailer and a grain truck at noon today, April 9, 2021.

Police say the semi was travelling eastbound when it collided with the grain truck that was travelling southbound and attempting to cross the highway.

The 77-year-old male driver of the grain truck from Haywood, Manitoba was taken to hospital but died from his injuries. The 21-year-old driver of the semi only suffered minor injuries.

RCMP continue to investigate the collision.
