RCMP are investigating a fatal collision between a car and a semi-truck on Highway 23 and Provincial Road 428 in the RM of Roland on Thursday evening, April 9, 2020.
Police say that the car was travelling north on PR 428. As it approached Highway 23 it came to a stop then proceeded across the intersection when it collided with the semi.
The 17-year-old female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. a 13-year-old male passenger in the car was taken to hospital.
The driver of the semi was not injured according to police.
