A 36-year-old female has died after the vehicle she was driving was hit head-on on Highway 8 in the RM of St. Andrews on Friday, December 3, 2021.
According to police a pickup truck crossed the centre line of the highway and collided with an SUV. A third vehicle then collided with the rear of the SUV.
The 36-year-old female driver and an 11-year-old male passenger in the SUV were taken to hospital. The driver died from her injuries on December 4.
The 58-year-old male driver and 57-year-old female passenger of the pickup were both taken to hospital.
The 70-year-old male driver in the third vehicle was not injured.
Investigators say that at the time of the collision road conditions were icy.
The investigation continues.
