One person was taken to hospital and another is dead after a vehicle and pedestrian collided about eight kilometres west of Brandon On Provincial Road 459 near the intersection of Road 115 N on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
Police say the investigation has determined that an 18-year-old male had been standing on the side of the roadway when a vehicle entered a curve, lost control, struck the male then entered the ditch and rolled.
The 18-year-old female driver was extricated from the vehicle and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP continue to investigate.
