Winnipeg Police are looking for a suspect in connection to the killing of 31-year-old Cody Alexander Sleigh.
Sleigh had been shot on July 21, 2020, around 5:45 am on Main Street. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but died from his injuries on July 23.
Sleigh was originally from British Columbia but was living in Winnipeg at the time of his death say investigators.
On September 7, 2020, Homicide detectives from Winnipeg and Williams Lake RCMP arrested a 32-year-old suspect in Sleigh’s murder.
Kleon Cassidy Pop was charged for his alleged involvement with First Degree Murder.
Investigators have also identified a second suspect in the case and need help locating him.
A Canada-wide warrant for First Degree Murder has been issued for 19-year-old Dylan Petrin.
Police say that Petrin is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached.
Investigators think Petrin may be in the south-central area of British Columbia
Petrin is described as 5’5″ tall with a medium build, short dark hair and a tattoos on his right forearm and the left side of his neck.
