Winnipeg Police responded to a serious assault at Olivia Street and McDermot Avenue Wednesday evening, May 8, 2019.
When officers arrived they found a man in his 20s who had been stabbed. Police administered first aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to
Investigators arrested a suspect around 9:30 pm in the same area as the stabbing.
Jamie Jason James Suggashie, 29 from Winnipeg is facing charges for his alleged involvement of Aggravated Assault, Carry Concealed Weapon and Poess Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
Police detained Suggashie in custody.
