RCMP has laid additional charges against an accused 36-year-old female who was arrested in January 2021, for the killing of Tamara Benoit.
Police say that on May 4, 2021, Tova Jeanine Peters had more charges laid against her after she allegedly attempted to contact a witness in the Benoit murder cases. She now faces charges of Obstruction of Justice and Breach of Court Order in addition to her existing charges of Second Degree Murder and Accessory After the Fact to Murder.
Peters remains in custody.
