Firefighters responded to a blaze in a single-storey commercial building on Oak Point Highway (Route 90) near Eagle Drive around 9:10 pm.
Smoke was coming from the structure as crews arrived on the scene. When they went inside the structure they found a fire in a paint booth that had extended to a nearby wall. The fire was quickly brought under control within 30 minutes.
No one was inside the building when emergency crews arrived and no injuries were reported.
The building suffered minimal damage due to smoke, fire and water.
The cause is under investigation.
