Winnipeg Police are investigating a collision that sent two people to hospital on Thursday evening, March 31, 2022.
It happened around 8:09 pm at Notre Dame Avenue and Gertie Street.
Police and cadets closed all but one lane to traffic as they investigated the scene.
A small sedan suffered significant damage and appears to have hopped the curb on the north side of Notre Dame crashing through a concrete garbage bin before ending up on the west side of Gertie Street.
The is no word on the condition of those taken to hospital.
